 1/26/14 BIBLE PASSAGE (Luke 11:1-28)

From Luke:

Jesus Christ taught his disciples how to pray (Luke 11:2-4), and he further explained that they should apply faith to their prayers. He analyzed that if imperfect people know how to think positively and assist their children, God who is perfect will definitely think positively and answer the requests of his children as well. Jesus said, “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” (Luke 11:13).

God is not man; he is better than man! Man has limited resources, but God has unlimited resources. Hence, conventional wisdom indicates that if man has capability to do good things, God will definitely have better capability to do good things. Hence, children of God are encouraged to believe that God will answer their prayers. He will listen to their cries, and he will definitely respond to any situation that they commit unto his hands.

Dear God, I ask in the name of your Son Jesus Christ to please bless, heal, restore, and promote me. (EVERYONE SHOULD MENTION HIS OR HER REQUESTS HERE). Please Lord, let all my requests be granted, and let my mouth be filled with laughter. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
